do I get to you from Heathrow Airport? Rates subject to change
||Take the non-stop
Heathrow Express train straight into Paddington Station, leaves every
15minutes (journey time approximately 15 minutes) and costs £12. Children
up to 15yrs are FREE. From Paddington Station take a 5minute taxi
ride to the hotel - approximately £4
||Take the A2 Airbus direct
to the Marble Arch stop, leaves every 20-30 minutes. Costs £7 (Children
5-16yrs £4) and takes about 50 minutes depending on the traffic.
||There are always plenty
of taxis lining up waiting for customers, takes about 45 minutes,
and costs about £35-£40 depending on the traffic delays, ie. it will
cost more in the morning and evening peak periods. Do not use unauthorised
drivers who offer their services at airports and stations.
Take the tube to Holborn and change
onto the Central Line and then take the westbound train to Marble
Arch.Costs £4.00 (children 5-16 yrs £1.50) and takes about 1 hour.
IMPORTANT NOTE - If your suitcases are heavy and you don't want
to arrive in a sweat, choose one of the other routes in case the
escalators in the underground aren't working
do I find you after getting off the Airbus or leaving the Tube?
|Take a print of our local map with
you. Just turn right outside the tube and take the subway under Edgware
Road and Stanhope Place is the first turning on the right.
do I get with my "English" Breakfast?
|Our policy is to make sure you start
the day with a satisfying breakfast consisting of a choice of various
cereals, choice of fruit juices, tea and coffee, toast, choice of
jams, marmalade and honey, eggs (fried, scrambled, poached), grilled
bacon, sausages, tomatoes, baked beans. If you're still hungry when
you're finished, have more of whatever you want.
can I get information about travelling around London?

We recommend that travelling around London is quicker and
easier by tube and the use of "Travelcards" is recommended
for most tourists. Maps and other information are always available
at our reception desk.
can I park the car?
|Parking costs for a car in central
London are prohibitively expensive and you're strongly advised to
use taxis or public transport whilst you're here. If you do have a
car, there are parking meters at the door (£1 for 20 minutes!) or
several parking garages in the immediate area, e.g £3.50 for 2hrs,
£7 for 4 hrs, £21 for 24 hrs.
Street parking is free from 6.30pm - 8.30am Monday-Friday, and from
Saturday 6.30pm - Monday 8.30am
